“There are only there things that men do talk in their life; it’s about their past, their present and their future.”

In one’s life there are three things that they speak, they listen and they do. It is about their past, their present or their future. However which of it is the most important? Many of people have wasted their life within wasted thing and will regret it at the end. I believe that the moment is the most important thing that a person should deal with and spend most of their time with.

The future

Imagine that you are walking along a street, suddenly, an old lady comes to you, and then she said that you will die tomorrow, or next month, or next year, or she gives a date that you going to die, what will be your reaction? Will we still continue our life normally like nothing has happened? Or will we be haunted by the prediction? I believe that the second one always happens. Although the person never says so, but they do believe and that is what make the prediction become true. This way of thinking is wrong because one’s future is depends on his hands and always be a mystery. However, we do must plan our future sometimes. As we living in college’s world, some of my friends and I really worried about our future as our result was not good enough. I had spent lot of my time thinking about it, however then I realize that I was wrong, I should not spend lots of my time worried about my future, it will not give me any benefit as it always unpredictable. However it is always better is we success to fly and I will never be like the fox in The Fox the Grapes story. I will never say that, “The grapes are sour anyway!” To conclude our future is always a mystery.

The past

Now, imagine that the one we love so much already die yesterday, or last month, or last year, or somewhere in the past, what we should do? Usually we will cry for days and some people cannot continue their life as they lost their love ones, they feel like they lost their sun, they feel like they lost the thing that coloured their life. They think afterward their life will be gloom, white and useless. This thing should not happen and is useless. We should not cry over spilt milk. It is because we can never change the past whatsoever.

                “Though nothing can bring back the hour

                Of splendour in the grass, glory in the flower,

                We will grieve not, rather find

                Strength in what remains behind”

Glory in the Flower is a play that gives a very big impact in my life. It is because it’s seemed like we really give our best on it. We were practice every day, do it together and did find the very best prop that we can get, thus make it unforgettable (thankS to Tsuey Xin, Gabriel, Voon Qian, Siddiq, Molly, Moviender, Jia Man and last but most important Grace). According to Tsuey, this play is about the past. It shows that a person can never get back his past no matter what he has done. As we are here together, there are so many thing that we did together and it seems like it just happened yesterday. It just like yesterday we come to this college and be friends and it just like yesterday we do everything together. However, we can never get back the entire thing that we did “yesterday”; we can never get back these sweet times. It is because it already is a part of our history.

The moment

On the other hand, what if our love one is dying? What should we do? Of course we will try our best to have our happy time with him or her and that is the best thing to do. Using the moment really well is important as the moment is the only thing that one’s can change or can create compare to the past and the future. Moreover, the moment is the only connecter between the past and the future. It’s the only one that can make our dream be a reality and the one that can make our past be a nice memories. Therefore, the moment should be use well and should never be wasted. It is because, once the time past it will never comes back. As it is only a few days left for us to be together we must spend the time together.  The moment is a gift from God to the humans’ kind.

All in all, the moment is the most important thing compared to the past and the future. It is because the past is history, the future is a mystery, the moment is a gift and that’s why we call it present. May we will use our moment really well.  May our moment be our greatest memories and create our greatest future. May our moment together be our unforgettable moment.
